Hello,

I tried to start Linux 2.0.0 on my box, which runs 1.2.13 without probs.
But it does not recognize any devices on my scsi bus. I see the following
messages during startup from 1.2.13:

Configuring Adaptec at IO:330, IRQ 11, DMA priority 5
  scsi0 : Adaptec 1542
  scsi : 1 host.
Vendor: SEAGATE   Model: ST51080N  Rev: 0913
Type:   Direct-Access  ANSI SCSI revision: 02
- Detected scsi disk sda at scsi0, id 0, lun 0
Vendor: QUANTUM   Model: LPS525S  Rev: 3100
Type:   Direct-Access  ANSI SCSI revision: 02
- Detected scsi disk sdb at scsi0, id 1, lun 0
    Vendor: TOSHIBA   Model: CD-ROM XM-3301TA  Rev: 2162
Type:   CD-ROM  ANSI SCSI revision: 02
- Detected scsi CD-ROM sr0 at scsi0, id 4,lun 0
scsi : detected 1 SCSI cdrom 2 SCSI disks total.

the lines marked with '-' are missing on 2.0.0 and the last line changed to:

  scsi : detected total.

Can anybody help me?

Cheers
      Christoph
