1. will linux install from Creative Blaster CD 2x Model MK4015?

Everyone,
I have the Walnut Slackware 3.0 CD.

I also have the above mentioned CD-Rom drive; it has its own AT-slotted
controller card.

I looked for a Linux driver per the CD HOWTO, but there is not one.

Any hope for me to install from the CD?
