Is it by chance the tools cartridge - the one that came with the
drive and contains the Dos/Windows tools? If so, it is write
protected and you are expected to load the Dos software to unlock
it. I'm not sure if a way around this has been found, maybe
someone else can help on that. My tools cartridge arrived with
nothing on it, which was just fine with me, because I didn't have
to deal with this problem.
