Is there a way to use my HP-7100e (parallelport cd-writer) together with
the xcdroast software.
I have allready tried cdrecord with the scsi-linux-pg.c patch. And now
i'm wondering whether there
is something similiar for xcdroast.
It works fine. I have it configured to use SCSI emulation (it's an IDE
drive, which isn't supported yet). Note the link to the version using

It is an external cd-writer connected to the parallelport.
Working with S.u.S.E 5.3 and kernel version 2.0.35
