Diamond Monster Fusion (Voodoo Banshee chipset)

Diamond Monster Fusion (Voodoo Banshee chipset)

Hi all,

I recently put together a new box just for linux (in an attempt to begin moving
away from Windoze), and i checked xfree86.org and found the voodoo banshee
chipset was supported, so i got a Monster Fusion w/16mb vid memory agp.  I
found that the chipset is supported by the SVGA X server, but for some reason
it only wants to work at 320x200x256.  The vid board obviously can go higher,
and my monitor can do 1024x768x64M at 70hz in windows.  The monitor actually
can go higher, i just can't see that well.  Anyone have any ideas (or
modelines) that might get me to 800x600x64M at least?  Email me at

 Thanks for any help!

You need to be using XFree86 3.3.4 or get the server from
http://glide.xxedgexx.com/3DfxRPMS_vb_glibc.html for Voodoo Banshee support.
