EISA Bus and linux

Howdy All,
I'm a bit of a Linux novice and I heard that Liunx doesn't support
the EISA bus.  This is a pretty common thing in Intel - based servers and
I was wondering if it was true.

It's nonsense.  I run an EISA/VESA system and Linux supports my EISA SCSI
controller (adaptec 27xx) just fine.  It could be that some particular EISA
cards aren't supported, but mine is.
