I'm buying a Dell Precision Workstation 410. I'll be running Linux
(right now Red Hat 5.2) (and work forces me to run NT) and need a tape
backup system. I'd prefer an 8mm system since that's what I'm familiar
with but will consider other options.

Dell says they will not configure the 8mm drive for Linux, but will
for NT, so I'm wondering:

1. what 8mm tape device is compatible with my system?
2. where do I get the necessary drivers?

Thanks!
