You may not have the right version of the ppa driver. I noticed whenQuote:> Got a question about my zip drive on a second parallel port. How does

If this is what's wrong, then the fix is easy - download the latest
(or later) version of ppa. I have v1.42, which works fine - it scans
*all* known parallel-port addresses.
I don't remember the URL for getting ppa, but it should be easy to find.
Try looking under "Linux Links" on the LDP page (www.sunsite.unc.edu/LDP)
for the Linux Parallel Port page.
