Go look on www.redhat.com. An XFree86 server with NeoMagic chipset support
is available from Red Hat; no source code, because they had to sign an
NDA, but at least it's available.

Not true any more, neomagic have released the details to RedHat
and it is now an XFCom server (waiting to be included into XF86).

Try ftp://sunsite.org.uk/Mirrors/ftp.redhat.com/XBF/old

I got this working on a Toshiba laptop a couple of weeks ago
and it was v.stable

I think I might have the file you need. It is the Neomagic 128XD X-server
for the CTX 700 Ezebook notebooks.

I have it in both glibc and libc5 libraries.

If you let me know which you are using I will send it as an attachment.

Hello;

     You are in luck!  The RedHat website has an Xwindow server for
that  NeoMagic chipset.  I'm using it with RedHat 5.1 on a HiNote VP717,
my laptop runs SVGA on a 800x600 display.  The X-server should run on
other Linux distributions as well.
                                                   Good Luck;

I use the same one on several laptops with SuSE 5.3. No problems at all.
Get the driver from ftp://ftp.redhat.com/XFcom/

The recently released XFree86 3.3.3 includes the XServers
provided by SUSE (and Redhat?) for NeoMagic Chips.
