id like to by me a notebook and found an acer travelmate 512t with 96M
for about 3000,- DM (think 1/2 in $). does anyone know if there are
problems running linux on that machine?

1. Linux on Acer TravelMate 505T - mouse not recognised
hi there,
I hope someone can help me. I've got this brand new 505T and I installed
Linux Mandrake 6.1. The mouse is not properly recognised! In actual
fact, psaux doesn't point to the touchpad, but to the external mouse
port. If I connect an external mouse, everything works fine. How can I
make the touchpad work???
Please send me suggestions.
