Hi All,

just a question: We are currently investigating the possibility to run
LINUX on a IBM RS6000 machine instead of the IBM AIX OS.

Does anyone know if this will work or has anyone experiences on this
platform?

Regards

Depends on the specific RS/6000 you have. Some of the newer models with
PowerPC CPU are supported. Most older systems (the ones with Power CPU
and MicroChannel) are not supported, however.

You can find more information on http://www.linuxppc.org
