Hi,
I installed Mdk 8.2 on a bi-athlon 1.9 Ghz with
a mother card Asus Dual Athlon A7M266-D that have
integrated sound card.
All the devices works well except the sound.
Where can I make changes to avoid the problem ?

The driver of this card has been released since 1998, and incorporated
into the kernel since 2.2.10 (or somewhere near that).
Try to "modprobe cmpci". Most distro vendors have compiled whatever
is available as modules.

1. Sound Card and CD Rom Together Don't Work
I have a Media Magic ISP16 soundcard and a Sanyo CD-ROM installed in my
system. They have both been able to work under linux up to now.
I just upgraded the kernel to 1.3.74, and now I can't get them to work
together. There is nothing wrong with the individual drivers, as I can
compile each seperately into the kernel, and have sound but no CD
access, or CD access but no sound.
I have these compiled as modules, and using modules 1.3.69c ( I thought
that was the problem, but it didn't solve it).
Any help would be appreciated.
