Hi, Linux-freaks!
I owe a SOYO-Mainboard 6KA (PentiumII), with AWARD 4.51G BIOS.
Trying to install Linux (from CD, or Bootdisks, or Loadlin) leads to a
reset
after displaying "Uncompressing Linux..." and "Booting Linux...".
The last message I can read is "Checking `hlt`instruction.."
After that my machine resets, the procedure begins again.
Sometimes I can read "Real Clock Time driver..." and then follows a
reset.
Has someone a suggestion?
Thanks!
Helge
