Adaptec 7890 U2/W/SCSI friendly with Linux/FreeBSD?

Hi,
I'm interested in building a system with the
ASUS P2BDS i440BX PII w/ U2/SCSI Dual cpu slots.
Built-in Adaptec 7890 U2/W/SCSI .  Is this board Linux (SuSE) or FreeBSD
friendly?

Thanks.

Alex Lam.

Could someone tell me how to install LINUX on a DELL with a 18Go hard
drive and SCSI Adaptec AIC 7890 adapter ? Current distributions like
RedHat6.0 or Mandrake6.0 don't work.
