ISDN cards supported by Linux?

Post by Johan K?lh » Thu, 27 Jul 1995 04:00:00

Does anyone out there use ISDN cards together with Linux?

I would be very happy if someone could give me a short list
over ISDN cards and drivers that works with Linux. The cards I
have in mind is Diehl and NCP, but I don't know if there are
any drivers for these cards (or any good FTP archive that have
them) or if there are any other cards as well that might work.

Thanks!

I just read the CombiNet (sunnyvale, calif) has a pc card with a linux
(unsupported) driver.  Just announced this week ...

The pc card is in the $500 range, and does ip/ipx routing (I believe).  You
can buy compression for an extra $100.

I believe it has an integrated nt1.

Is that a "PC" card or pcmcia?  I'd kill to have an ISDN pcmcia
card in my laptop linux box!

IBM's MWave PCMCIA card is pretty impressive.  Not only will it connect
to ISDN modems, but it's got a DSP which allowes it to connect to regular
modems over ISDN.

1. Primary Rate ISDN Card support for Linux

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could help determine if there is support for
Primary Rate ISDN cards under Linux (e.g. Device drivers).  Current
drivers seem to support Basic Rate ISDN cards only.  Are there any PRI
card manufacturers producing drivers for Linux ?

Thanks in advance,
