I am trying to get some information about the Adaptec APA-1450 PCMIA SlimSCSI
adapter.
The 1460 is documented to be supported by linux (Hardware-HOWTO, PCMCIA-HOWTO)
but I could not find any hint about the 1450. It costs appr. 200DM compared
to the appr. 300DM of the 1460 and I am thinking about saving the 100DM
difference. From the Adaptec homepage I have the feeling that the main difference
is the missing EZ-SCSI driver software for the 1450 but that may be wrong.
Does somebody have an APA-1450 card working with linux and does it work with
the APA-1460 driver or is there any other information about these cards?
