If you don't mind booting from SCSI, then just remove the two IDE drives
from the BIOS/CMOS setup.  Linux will find them regardless.

1. Adaptec 1542B + 2 IDE drives

Hi!

I have got an 486 with 2(!) IDE-Disks AND an Adaptec 1542B-Controller.
My machine seems to disable the Adaptec-BIOS as there are already 2 HD-Drives
installed. But without BIOS I cant get Linux to work!(?) Or can I?

Please help!!
