Very Computer

I' am a newcomer to Linux and I ' m Running   R.Hat2
Got a  Crystal CS4232 sound card chip.

On inicialization I get an error message when loading sound drivers modules
such as /lib/modules/prefered/misc : cs 4232.o
device or resource busy.

Funy thing  is,  that I previously succeded to running sndconfig  and I
could hear Linus say how to pronounce Linux properly.
I also was  able to play Quake  and  get the sound of the shots. in a world,
all  was OK.

Next time I boot ;     crac !  that does not work anymore...

Why ?

Thanks to anyone who could give me a  hand
  I 've read all the How-To's, searched  for docs, and I'am stuck for about
a week on that.
