Modes for Target 15'' ?

Modes for Target 15'' ?

Post by Frank Teusi » Sat, 25 Feb 1995 20:16:48

Hi,

Is there anybody out there who has good modes standard modes (800x600,
768x1024, 1024x1280) for a Target 15'' monitor? I have some that work,
but I think they could be improved (right now, I have 768x1024 at
60 refresh rate).

If none reacts I'll have to do some serious experimenting myself.
I *hate* experimenting. ;-)

Cheers,

1. No 'make target 'xconfig' '

Hey all,

I've just finished completing an NFS install of RedHat 4.1 (2.0.27)
and want to update the kernel to 2.0.29.  However, whenever I cd to
/usr/src/linux and try 'make xconfig' I get an error

make: *** No rule to make target 'xconfig'.  Stop.

Now, the crazy thing is that I've successfully re-compiled the kernel
using the same distribution cdrom, and have no problem.  I can't even
complete 'make config';  it just gives me the same error as the above.
Anybody have an idea as to what I did wrong?  Thanks in advance,

Mark
