1. Reg.Ensoniq Soundscape Soundcard on linux

Hi!,
I have been trying to configure my soundcard (Ensoniq Soundscape PnP) on
my linux box. I am using Redhat linux 4.0 kernel 2.0.18.
and my kernel recognizes the card and my sndstat looks like :

Timers:
0: System clock

Mixers:

But none of my audio devices are set up. Will these devices be set aftr
I run ssinit.c along with the Soundscape.co0 file?

I would really appreciate it if anyone could help me out regarding this.
