I'm using Caldera OpenLinux 2.3, and I've tried the sound module and ALSA, and
they both report my CMI8330 as "Device or resource busy". I've checked every
possible resource, and there are no conflicts. What gives?

(It's an intergrated chip on a SiS 6326)

BTW, I loathe OSS, so don't say ANYTHING about it.

I have two different motherboard working with this chip. The sound chip work
fine in 16 bit resolution.
