A Hewlett Packard DJ820Cxi printer does not work with Linux. It does,
however, work fine with Win-Blows. I know there is something there that
says (argh) "Windows Only", but I still would like not having to buy
another printer just to be able to print from Linux.

Sorry, but the 820 series is truly windows only - not dos, not os2, mac, or
unix.  Basically, they're a dumb ink jet latched onto the parallel port,
they need to use the main cpu for everything, and don't even have flow
control.
