Hello All!
Is anyone knows how to get subj work in Linux?
I'm tried to install Slackware 8 with ata100.i precompiled kernel, but it
won't work.

There's a "CMD64x chipset support" option under "IDE, ATA and ATAPI
Block device support" in make menuconfig. Sounds like your slack
kernel doesn't have that switched on. SuSE 7.1 installed straight out
of the box on my machine with one of those controllers in it - maybe
you just need a different install kernel or a different distribution.
