In SuSE Linux 6.0 my TV-card worked without any configuration. I only
needed to load the tuner-module (only if i wanted to use the tuner). In
6.2 i get thees errors (although I activated tv-card support and bt848
support in the kernel):
Warning: main: Can't load program-file /root/.kwintvrc/default.ch!
Warning: v4l1: Video4Linux and DGA disagree about the framebuffer base
Warning: v4l1: Video4Linux: 0x0, dga: 0xe1000000!
Warning: v4l1: you probably want to insmod the bttv module with
"vidmem=0xe10"
I wanted to configure the driver and looked in the manual where stood:
"edit /driver/Makefile"
So I searched for that file in my kernel source and in the
manual-directory, and because I couldn't find it I also searched for
any makefile with the definitions I got of the manual, but I didn't
found anything. Does I need to install an extra-package (I installt
bttv) or does anybody know how to configure the driver?
