1. AHA2940 not recognised

Attempting to install Linux on an ASUS P5 board with an AHA 2940 SCSI-II
adapter using Slackware 3.0.

Tried both AHA2940 and SCSI options when creating the boot floppy but Linux
dows not recognise the SCSI adapter.

Is this a known problem and any suggestions?
