We build a couple of X.21 / V.35 adapters, complete with programming
information.

interface at 615-834-8000 / fax 615-834-5399 for more info, or I can
put you in touch directly.

Writing your own driver for Linux is probably required, as I know of
none for these boards.   Before you start it, mail me for some samples
and some ideas.  Are you looking at wiring it to PPP?

Some time ago a card from "Arnet Corp" named "Sync/570i" was mentioned.

my purposes.  Maybe it is useful to you?
(the price was in the US$ 700..1100 range, depending on number of ports (2/4)
   and amount of memory (128/256K))

Comtrol, who has a Linux driver for their async cards, I think intends
to have Linux drivers for their sync cards (multiprotocol including

if/when they will support Linux with their sync cards; I'm sure that
they are market-driven like everyone else...  :-)
