Can't get Leadtek 4xSound running under Linux 2.2.18

Post by Roland Schwensfei » Mon, 15 Jan 2001 02:46:51

Hi,

i bought a brand new Leadtek  4xsound and tried to get it running under Linux
2.2.18.  Allthough the CMI chipset is said to be supported - and I installed
the appropriate modules ;-) - nothing happens.

Does anybody know about a working installation?

Thanks!

1. PROBLEM: DHCP doesn't work in 2.2.18?

I've compiled kernel 2.2.18 with DHCP support for
diskless workstation. And I noticed, that machine
doesn't send DHCP requests.

2.2.16 in identical configuration works good.

Is it really bug?

I'm sending my .config in attachment.
