LCD and SVGAlib

LCD and SVGAlib

Hi all. I am working on a senior project for school (DeVry Institute of
Technology in Phoenix, Arizona). For this project, I have built a Linux
system on a very small (3.5" square) board. The board has an integrated
Chips and Technologies 65550 video chipset with 1MB of video RAM. I am
also using a Sharp LM6Q32 320X240 6.5" Color STN LCD screen. Due to
limited system resources, I don't think that I will be able to run X on
this system, however I need to build a GUI app. I was thinking of using
(n)curses, but it just doesn't have the quality graphics ability that I
need. Therefore, the only other option that I know of is SVGAlib. I have a
custom-built SVGAlib for my video chipset, however I don't have a clue how
to code for it. I am proficient in C/C++, but I don't know where to begin
with SVGAlib. If you know of a good online resource for this (tutorial?
examples?) or online resources for coding GUI apps (graphics) without X, I
would really like to hear from you. Any assistance would be _greatly_
appreciated.

BTW -- If you are interested, I have put the C&T65550 SVGAlib on my FTP
server. The URL is ftp.kinetic.org/pub/Gruppe-Sechs/ct65550/linux/
