No they aren't the same gards, the G200's are newer and use the
G200 chipset, however they are supported by Xfree 3.3.3, i recomment the
millg200 over the mystiqg200 unless you need a tv out.  Faster ramdac and
ram. later.

Giddyup, I have a G200 AND a Millennium II AGP. The G200 screams. I agree,
the faster ramdac is the way to go.

Has anybody managed to get the G200 working with SVGATextMode?

If I had any clue on how to add the support myself, I'd do so, but
I don't, because I'm stoopid.

1. Which one works better, Millennium II PCI or Millennium II AGP?

The result was not pleansant. Even though I set refresh rate to 75Hz,
the whole screen flickers. After I took it out and put my old Intel i740
card
back in, the flickering was totally gone.

Since Intel i740 is not supported by RedHat, I am considering to
buy a Matrox Millennium II vedio card.
Now my question is: Which one works better with RedHat Linux 5.1,
Millennium II AGP or Millennium II PCI?

BTW, some say that Matrox Mystique is great also.
How is the performance different between Millennium and Mystique?

I'll appreciate your help very much.
