:When I go to the network manager to change the subnet mask it wants it in the

Take each decimal part of the subnet and represent it as a pair
of hex digits: 255.255.192.0 -> [255, 255, 192, 0] -> [FF, FF, C0, 00].
Now, put these all together and put '0x' in front: 0xFFFFC000 . That
will be the string you need.
