Very Computer

I am looking for a utility to convert postscript (ps), EPS, BMP or gif
files to XPM format.

Any pointers.

(if I can get the converter, then I can use xv to capture, but it doesn't
support XPM (xv version 3.0)).

Use the "convert" utility that comes with the ImageMagick package. It does what
you require - BMP.GIF,EPS -> XPM
