1. SHAREWARE: TkZip - archive pgm gui front end - beta 0.5.23
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
TkZip is a gui front end to the standard archiving/compression
programs, free for non-commercial use. It makes my life easier. I hope
it does yours.
Here's the lsm entry:
Title: TkZip Archive Manager
Description: TkZip is an X front end to standard archiving/compression
programs (you must have those programs) - features automatic
archive type recognition, tape and floppy support, handles
tar, compress, gzip, zip, arj, rar, ar, bzip, shorten.
0.5.21b is a pre-release beta - view/extract only. Create and
update will be added before the 1.0 release.
(The primary site is http, not ftp.)
Keywords: archive, compress, gui, Tcl, Tk, unix, X
Platforms: Unix, X, Tcl/Tk 7.4/4.0 or above
For the latest version (currently 0.5.23) check the TkZip home page
at http://www.pcnet.com/~proteus/TkZip/TkZip.html. I'm not going to flood
Sunsite with bug fix releases every few days in this beta stage. Also, the
Web page has up to date info on any bugs fixed in the release du jour
(yes - sigh - a couple have been reported since I uploaded to Sunsite).
