Could someone tell me why I can't complete the file name that
I want to type by hitting the "ESC" under linux? Is there a
special program/setup that I need to enable/run. Sorry if this
is a trivial faq question.

I don't know how to do it ksh, but as my version of ksh I got with Slackware
is *very* flakey I don't use it.
Hope this helps,

1. Q: ksh: how can I use TAB key to do "file name completion"
Hi,
I used to use tcsh where I can use TAB key to finish file name. Now I
moved to a new environment and started to use ksh. I know I can double
press Ese key to do the file name completion but I really want to set up
the TAB key to do the job. Can I do that in ksh?
Thanks in advance.
