Disabling touchpad tap feature?

1. disable tapping with ALPS/GlidePoint touchpad

I am using an ALPS GlidePoint touchpad on a DELL Inpiron 8200 laptop,
and I'm trying to disable "tap to click", so that touching the pad
doesn't initiate a mouse click.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm using the XFree86 mouse driver, version 4.3.0 (latest), with the
following settings in XF86Config:
