1. upgrade sunos 5.5 to 5.6

hi,

    I have some questions about SunOS 5.5:

First of all, you have to know the the SunOs 5.5 box is our root server.

1)  As you know, I have to patch my SunOs 5.5 box for the y2000. It's about
30 patches and I want to know if someone did the installation of those 30
patches (how many disk space will it take to install all patches ??)

2) Instead of installing the patches, I thought that maybe, I could upgrade
to Solaris 2.6.  If I do so, will I have to re-initialize the NIS server,
Web server and Mail Server ??

What advice(s) do you give to me ??
