Greetings.
Can someone please explain this error in /var/adm/syslog?
A pointer to some document explaining this will be greatly appreciated.

1. modprobe" can't locate module char-major-6 & ......... !!

 What's the problem of my RH5 with kernel 2.0.33 ?
 I can sure that I haven't enabled any module from kernel !
 How can I overcome these damn problem ?

(1) modprobe" can't locate module char-major-6 !
(2) inetd[2958]: execv /usr/sbin/in.identd: No such file or directory !
