Hi,
I'm having trouble in installing RedHAt Alpha 4.1 on a
I configured everything to have the "Boot Linux" tag.
On my MILO disk, I put linload.exe version 1.3 and a milo
file from the milo/alcor directory since a AlphaStation 600
is an Alcor based computer (from RedHat Installation Guide).
When I boot the system, I have The following message:
Linux Loader V1.3
Copyright(C) 1994,1995 Digital Equipment Corporation
System Partition is OSLOADPARTITION=multi(0)disk(0)fdisk(0)
Load File Name is OSLOADFILENAME=\milo
Load Path is multi(0)disk(0)fdisk(0)\milo
OSLOADOPTIONS=nodebug
Opening file multi(0)disk(0)fdisk(0)\milo ...
Loading the file at 0x80000000 ...
Getting firmware parameters ...
...Memory size is 0x8000000 bytes
Swapping to PALcode at 0x0 ...
And the boot process of MILO hangs here !!!
I'm new to Alpha Linux and any help would be very
appreciated.
Thanks a lot !!!
