Hi,

I want to write a new disk driver on unix, but I don't know how do to
this, so if someone known some books where they explain it very well,
could you give me the exactly reference ...

1. New model of 3c509 ethernet card that requires new drivers?

It seems there is a new model of 3Com's 3c509 Ethernet card that
requires new drivers.  Our computer supplier has just arrived with new
"3c509" cards and new drivers for the commercial operating systems,
and it turns out that these cards are no longer recognized by Linux's
3c509 driver (I tried 1.1.81 and 1.1.91).  Does anyone know more about
this; will it be hard to support the new model?
