Post by Sacha Kaerche » Thu, 24 Feb 2000 04:00:00

Hello,

I've a problem with the printer setup. I use printtool but it tells me that
there is no lp detected ....

/dev/lp0  Not detected
/dev/lp1  Not detected
/dev/lp2  Not detected

But I do have one !

I use RH6.1 and KDE on a K6-200.

Thank you for your help,

- Sacha

This must have been posted at least 100 times before.  Add the following
to /etc/conf.modules and also do the errata updates:

alias parport_lowlevel parport_pc

I hope one day RH will work the bugs out of a version before releasing it.
