Problem of Midnight Commander of Mandrake 9.0

After I upgrade my Mandrake to 9.0, I find that the Midnight Commander
run very slow, when changing the directory, anyone know why?

After I check the output of top, I find that the CPU usage don't have
big difference which changing directory, but it is still slow...

I will think that it is the problem of new version of mc, rather than
my own computer problem, so I would like to see if someone noted this,
and find out why. However, now seen it is my own problem.
