The subject says it all. Has anyone had a negative experience with the
AMD DX4/120(or even the DX4/100 for that matter) with Linux? I am
currently running a Intel DX2/66, and I haven't given up on the 486 line
yet. Besides, with a Matrox Millenium and 16MB RAM my system is still
faster than some Pentiums. I am looking for the best price/performance
upgrade. The Intel DX4/100 goes for around $210, while the AMD DX4/100
goes for around $120, and the AMD DX4/120 for around $150. I have heard
that the AMD DX4/120 is comparable to the Intel DX4/100 in speed, even
though it is about $60 dollars cheaper. Anyone have any input on this?
