1. debian upgrade problem: getcwd: cannot access parent directories

Hi,

I upgrade my debian to 2.0 beta almost perfectly, except that X doesn't
work.  X keeps dying after startx or after xdm login. (Xdm shows login
screen, but x dies after login and goes back to login screen.)

However, I can run `X :1 &', and then `fvwm -display localhost:1&' to
work on X.
