Very Computer

I hope someone here can offer some insight into a problem I'm having.  I tried
to compile xIrc and it tells me that I need the libQTso libraries installed (I
also read this in the Install file).  I searched sunsite in the libs
directories and subs but couldn't find anything remotely resembling what I
need.  

Can someone tell me where to get these libraries and what it is that they are
for?  Also, while I'm at it... is xIrc even worth the trouble I'm going to to
get it to compile?
