I am unable to configure the Mach64 server.  Could you forward me
a copy of your XF86Config.  I have a Mach64 PCI card w/2MB Video
RAM.  I have loaded the Linux 4cd March 1995 distribution with
Xfree 3.1.1.  The system is PCI/I-P54TP4 100MHz Pentium/16MB,  
Nokia 447L Monitor.

I have down loaded and attempted to configure X311u1ma64.tgz.  
The server comes up and I am able to use ctrl-alt-+ and move
between the different resolutions.  The images are not correct.  
The images are wrapped or offset.

I have another system with a Mach32 card that works fine.  How
does one configure the Mach64PCI card?

1. Mach64 card w/Mach64 or SVGA Xserver

I have an Ati Graphics Expression 2mb PCI video card.
(stg1702 ramdac)
I'm running Debian Potato and kernel 2.2.14.
640x480 8bpp will not work with the SVGA or Mach64
Xserver. 640x480 does work with the vga16 Xserver, but
this is useless.
The problem is the Vertical size is too big, I tried
multiple modelines and the effect was limited, I could
not get the screen to fit vertically, xvidtune seemed to be
working when I exceeded the possible settings given the
monitor specs entered in XF86Config.

works with the vga16 Xserver, Why ?

Any help apprecaited! :/
