Hello,
i just wanna know if somebody has alreaady noticed some errors with 1.3.95
kernel.
After bootup i get some messages with process PID error broken flock emulation.
If it is an new error i could post the full message (it is no kernel panic
just the message some times e.g. when the daemons are loaeded)
Kernel is 1.3.95 with SCSI/NCR always synch negotation and FAST(10MHz) are
set to NO.

Flock implementation has changed ( from "broken" to good). You need the
actual libc, released some days ago.

No, I have no plan to fix 4.7.x. Feel free to DIY.
Yes, I have fixed libc 4.7.x. The fixed one is called libc 5.3.9.
BTW, I will release libc 5.3.1x RSN to fix a bad bug.

1. 1.3.95: fcntl_setlk() called by process 81 with broken flock() emulation
Those messages come from a change in fs/lock.c that just added a kprintf
statement. For all I can tell that code was executing silently in former
versions. This is hapening when agetty tries to lock the tty.
