Apache - anyone get it working?

I am trying to compile the Apache http server on Linux 1.3.20, and it
keeps bombing right toward the end. Anyone get this to work?
Thanks,

Well, I did not compile the apache server as there was a precompiled one
available. The binary worked fine on the 1.3.20 kernel.

Yes.  But for anyone to help you you'll need to tell us what the
output was for the error.

Thanks!

It compiled and runs nicely under my 1.3.99 system...

1. HAS ANYONE GOTTEN A RECOVERY PLAN TO WORK WITH FTAPE ?????

Hello,
I am trying to make recovery disks for use with the
ftape module - the problem is, I need to fit everything on
one floppy so that it can load into the RAMDISK. What can I
do?  I have been using a program called BootDisk located
at /pub/Linux/system/Recovery (or something like that) at
sunsite.unc.edu.
I need to add "insmod", "lsmod", "rmmod" and "ftape.o"
to the floppy but there is not enough room! How can I
get this to work? Is it *possible* to get it to work? Please
don't tell me to read a manual or a guide. I have read already
and I would greatly appreciate a solution.
Sorry about all of the posting. I guess I should not
work on a problem so long that I get to the total frustration
level %<   but - I would still appreciate an answer to my
problem -

TIA
