<Ctrl>+<Alt>+<Del> Problems

Post by Christian Fors » Wed, 27 Nov 1996 04:00:00

Hi,

on a Pentium 100MHz PC I have installed Linux 2.0.24. Now when I use the
<Ctrl>+<Alt>+<Del> key-combination or type shutdown on the command-line
I always get 'shutdown already running'. I did nothing but upgrading
from Linux 2.0.0 where eveything worked fine. Explainations anyone?

Christian

I have a 10 GB UDMA IDE drive formatted with Windows.  The first partition
is FAT32, and the second is NTFS.  I can successfully mount the first, but
not the second.  Any ideas?

the drive is mounted on /dev/hdc, and I CAN see hda1, but not hda2
