Hi all,
I have been working on this problem for a while and I can't fixed it. I
first installed ftape3.03a and the the driver did work! Somehow
something changed on my system. Now I always get the following type of
meesges whenever I tried to use the tape in Linux
/dev/qft0: no such device or address
I have upgraded to ftape3.03b.blah and ftape3.04 without success. I have
redhat 4.2 (linux-2.0.30). I am using a Ditto insider 3200 connected to
the FDC that is on the board. The machine is PPro 200 (intel). The
motherboard is a QDI P6I440fx Commander.
One guess where could be the problem: I had a PnP modem which forced to
go in the bios. That is the only major that can I changed as far as I
believe.
Also can someone tell me what the first errors means:
fdc-isr.c (hadle_fdc_busy): Warning: unexpected irq during:
fdc_idle.
Please send a copy of the response to me directly.
Thanks
