        Ok ppp seems to be running fine bit i keep getting:

demuxprotrej: Unrecognized Protocol-Reject for protocol 69!
                                                        41579!
                                                        217!
                                                        9!
                                                        2744!
                                                        45671!

        And a couple more numbers for each inbound connection.....
anyone see this or know what it's about.....?

1. kernel 1.21 & ftape 2.02 compile error

I recall seeing a fix for the compile error ("VERIFY_AREA" error in
ftape-read.c) some time ago, but have lost it in the chaos.  Can someone
post it again please?
