New GUI Fax code for LINUX

New GUI Fax code for LINUX

I've rebuilt the Fax Transmission Monitor and statically linked it so that
MOTIF is not needed to run the app.  Very soon the external interfaces
from UNIX and Windoze95 will be available so that HotWire EasyFAX can be
used as a server to PC and UNIX clients too.  Keep an eye on the
"announce" newsgroup in a couple of weeks.

You can pick up the latest version of HotWire EasyFAX from
http://www.unisrc.com.

Hi,

HotWire has had Class 2.0 support "coming soon" (on the webpage) for as
long as I can remember... will USR Sportsters be supported any time
soon?

BTW $99 for a fax program ain't that measley... will cheaper single-user
or non-commercial licensing be ever considered? OK, ignore this if you
like, after all no free fax software works correctly with Class 2.0
anyway (to the extent I've tried)

Hi Robert,

I use mgetty+sendfax to send and receive faxes on my USR Sportster
quite succesfully. You can even rig it to the extent that it works
transparrantly like a printer (With the help of a few scripts).
I'm quite happy with it... :)

Just check it out... It's free too... :)

When I shop for hardware I always look for the "Designed for Windows 95" logo.
I really thank Microsoft(TM) for encouraging manufacturers to label their
products this way, so I know what to AVOID.

I stick to quality software:

Linux 2.0.33                        | IBM OS/2 Warp (TM) v4.0
